Description

Our Calissa bridal gown is a minimal masterpiece. Made with the finest medium weight 18mm pure silk, it’s simple silhouette slips down the body in a comfortable and smooth way. Designed for the minimalistic bride, whose charm and desire for the simple things in life is admired and coveted by all. Our Calissa gown was designed to rejoice the natural shape of a woman. Calissa’s front is clean with a flattering v-neckline and thin straps. The back is low and open with delicate lace trim and a hidden zipper. Adjustable straps allow for a perfect fit across the bust. The matching silk choker with tie up tassels add a touch of bohemian style. 

To tie in a touch of lace wear it with our Sophie Lace Cape.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Can I wear a bra?

Our Goddess By Nature Bridal Gowns come with built in bra cups, so there is no need to worry about wearing a bra! However if you’re on the bustier side, we often suggest wearing a stick-on bra with the help of the bra cups to keep everything in place.

What about underwear?

We recommend wearing nude-coloured, thin underwear.

What if I am one size at the bust, and another in the hips?

We do offer split-sizing for most of our gowns. Please e-mail us at [email protected] if you would like more information on ordering a split-size dress.

How long will my dress take to be made?

Our gowns are delivered in 4-6 months from the date of purchase. You should order your dress at a minimum of 6 months prior to your wedding date. We can also accommodate two-month rush orders for an additional cost.

Can I alter the design of my dress?

Absolutely - yes. We often have brides add or take away sleeves, raise necklines, line bodices, add leg slits, etc. If there is a customization you had in mind, send us an e-mail at [email protected] and we will assist you!

What if I gain or lose weight?

Our Goddess By Nature gowns are made using soft, flexible laces and linings. This allows for our brides to gain or lose a little bit of weight without having to make major alterations on their dress. However we do recommend that you order your gown in your current size, as it is much easier to have a dress taken in then it is to get it let out.

To ensure that you’ve selected the perfect size, we encourage you to pull out some measuring tape and get your measurements at home. You can then use our size chart to find your true size, or e-mail us if you’re having trouble deciding. One of our GBN stylists will help you out!

PRODUCTION & DELIVERY

Our gowns can be delivered worldwide. You can also purchase our dresses at any Goddess By Nature Stockist Location or from our Brisbane Studio. Our gowns arrive within 4-6 months from your purchase date. International orders are sent via DHL Express, which arrive in 2-5 business days. Domestic orders typically arrive in 2-3 business days.

I was trying on a few different dresses at Always & Forever, when my maid of honor pulled out the GBN dress. It wasn’t what I expected I would fall in love with, but something about it took my breath away. When I tried it on I felt so comfortable and like a true goddess..I knew it was the one!

After trying on over 18 dresses at other stores, I couldn’t find anything that suited. Plus all of the stores had very large dresses and no option to try on my actual size. I came across Goddess By Nature on Instagram, and flew to Brisbane and made an appointment with my Bridesmaids at GBN. The dresses there were all in my size, which was a huge help. They all fit me like a glove. I fell in love with two. The bottom part of the Eliza gown and the top part of the Breanna gown. I asked GBN if they could merge the two, and they said they could. This is how my Goddess By Nature Melanie gown came to be. There was another dress from another designer that looked very similar to what I wanted, however after terrible service at other dress stores and amazing service at Goddess By Nature, I wanted them to be the ones to make my gown.
