While we encourage all our brides to visit their nearest Goddess By Nature trunk show or stockist location, we realize we aren’t able to cater to all geographical areas. That being said – if you are still in love with a GBN dress and would like to purchase your gown online, then we are here to help! Our dresses are designed for comfort using flexible fabrics that easily adhere to the natural shape of your body. This makes choosing one of our dresses and purchasing it online a fairy simple task, and one that many of our brides have had a great experience doing!
We have found that some of our brides choose one gown instantly and need no further help, and others are sometimes torn between a few different styles. That being said we are here to guide you as much as you need. You can send us a picture, tell us your concerns and we’ll get back to you with some helpful advice and insight into finding the perfect ONE.
Our gowns are made to embrace all natural body shapes. Whether your curvy or slim, tall or short. In our minds, all bodies are beautiful, and each of our GBN gowns was designed so that it could be altered to suit your distinct shape. Our mission is to make YOU feel beautiful! THE ORDERING PROCESS
The first step is to get giddy because you have just said YES to the perfect dress! We will then be with you every step of the way, from the day you place your order to the day it arrives at your home.
HOW TO ORDER
- On your dress product page, click ‘Add to Cart’. Please select your general dress size, lining colour, train length, tulle colour and some other options that may be listed as available. If any of these options are unclear to you, send us a quick e-mail and we’ll help clarify. Don’t worry too much about sizing as we’ll be in touch shortly after your order is placed to confirm your selected details.
- Once we have received your order, we’ll send you an e-mail requesting the professional measurements of your bust, waist (smallest measurement of your torso), hips (lower bottom – not bones), and hollow to hem (with wedding shoes on). When we have received your measurements, we’ll match you to the standard sizing of our size chart.
- Our gowns typically take 4 months production time. You will be notified when your dress is ready to be shipped. This is when you can clarify which address you would like the gown to be sent to.
- You’re dress has arrived, now what? While we strive for perfection, it is very common for brides to make final alterations or tweaks at a local seamstress. All further alteration costs are covered by the customer.
Payment options are Credit Card or Bank Transfer. Bank Transfers can only be done for Australian customers. Credit Card is the preferred method, but please choose whatever option is most convenient for you. No gowns are sent into production until payment or confirmation of payment is received.
If you have any questions before or after ordering your dress, don’t hesitate to email us. Please note, no changes to a dress can be accepted if the order has already been processed.
It is recommended that you order your dress as soon as you know it’s the one, so that you can guarantee arrival of your gown 1 to 3 months before your wedding day. This leaves your plenty of time to make any final tweaks with a local seamstress. All of our bridal gowns take 4 to 6 months standard production time. If you would like to place a rush order for a fee of $200, your dress will be ready in as little as 2 months.
For all bridesmaid gowns the production time is approximately two months.
Depending on where you are located and how many dresses are purchased, your shipping cost will be automatically calculated at the checkout stage.
We ship your bridal gown in a complimentary bridal box packaged and wrapped beautifully. We also recommend purchasing an additional bridal gown dust bag at for $20 to protect your gown once it has been taken out of the box.
Once we ship your dress, we will e-mail you with tracking information so you can watch your dress arrive.
In Australia, we ship via our local courier only. This includes a tracking number, insurance and a signature to be required on delivery. If there is no one home to receive the parcel during business hours, it is best to send it to your work address or alternative address where someone can receive it.
U.S.A. & CANADA SHIPPING
We ship via DHL Express which generally takes 2-3 business days. Any import duties, taxes and customs charges are not included in the price of the gown and are the responsibility of the buyer. The amount charged is at the discretion of the customs agency within the destination country and is determined, in part, by the value of the item. Payment of duties and taxes are due at collection/delivery.
WHAT DO I DO WHEN I RECEIVE MY DRESS?
Please try on the dress as soon as possible without any make-up, lotions or fake-tan.
We make your dress according to the size chart that matches the measurements you gave us when you placed your order. If you have lost a significant amount of weight, then we advise that you take your dress to a local seamstress who can take in your dress.
We highly recommend all our brides have their measurements professionally taken. Because each body is unique, you might find that going to a local alterations shop is the easiest way to make a dress fit exactly how you want it to. All of our gowns can be altered easily with a professional seamstress.
In the rare occasion you think we have made a mistake with the measurements, please send us a few photos and we’ll happily ensure that it is fixed at no extra cost. Unfortunately, we can only cover costs if the misfit is brought to our attention within 24-48 hours of delivery.
All of our GBN dresses are made specifically for you, so, unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds. So please choose carefully prior to ordering. Again, our team is here to help you at any stage when choosing a dress and we will offer as much support as we possibly can to make sure you’ve selected the correct size and any other additonal options for your dress. We also highly suggest ordering a fabric swatch so you can see our fabric in person before ordering your gown. CHANGED YOUR MIND?
While we do our best to support brides who change their minds, we still cannot offer refunds if you feel the gown doesn’t suit you anymore. However if we have not begun production on your dress and you would like to make a change to your order, we suggest getting in touch with us immediately. We will do what we can to make any requested changes before the dress begins production.
