How did you meet?

David and I met while working together in Gainesville, FL

When did you know they were the one?

I realized David was the one when I could just sit in silence with him and feel like I was home. Just looking into his eyes and knowing that this was going to be such an amazing adventure with my best friend.

Who proposed and how did it go down?

David proposed, its actually a funny story. I was super sick! I called my mom the Friday morning it was all to happen, to ask her if she had any cold medicine she could bring me because I was going to call out of work. She yelled at me (which she never does) that I HAD to go to work. So I got my sick self up and went to work. Little did I know she was in on David’s plan. David, my mom, and sister spent the entire day decorating our home with rose petals, candles, and pictures of us. So when I finally arrived home I opened the door and there he was down on his knee, with our pup and my dream ring. I instantly said YES!

Tell us the story of how you fell in love with your GBN dress?

I tried on 4 dresses prior to my dream dress. Then when I put on my GBN dress I just knew! I didn’t want to take it off. I just felt so beautiful wearing it! I was told I had to try on more dresses just to be sure so I did and I just couldn’t stop thinking about the GBN dress! It was perfect!

What was the wedding theme/style for your special day? Bohemian

On your wedding day, what was the moment that made you cry the most / What was the moment that made you laugh the most?

My favorite moment of our wedding day was when I got to see David’s reaction during our first look. I was trying so hard to hold back the tears plus I was SO nervous! But as soon as I saw him smile the whole world faded away and it was just him and I. It was such a beautiful day and it was so quiet and peaceful at that moment knowing we were going to make the best decision of our life, together.

There were so many moments of my wedding that made me laugh. It was such a light mood all day. Everyone was smiling and just genuinely happy and excited for what the future holds for David and I. I loved every moment of our special day.

Any advice for future brides?

Don’t forget to HAVE FUN!! My biggest priority and motto during wedding planning was “I just want to have fun and be “a guest” at our wedding!” And it was the easiest, stress-free, amazing day of our lives.
