11 May GEORGIA IN SAVANNAH
How did you know they were the one?
Nathan is the first person I want to tell my best and worst news to. He is my best friend. Knowing what life was like with him, I couldn’t picture life without him!
Who proposed and how did it go down?
Nathan proposed. We had already planned a day trip to the Melbourne Zoo (one of our favourite dates) and Nathan had planned the whole day in advance. He made me breakfast before we left and told me he had a few activities planned. We were able to pat and feed the monkeys and enjoyed such a wonderful day together. The last part of our day was the tiger experience. We were able to go inside the tiger enclosure to place some food and bits and pieces for them! Here, Nathan thought would be the perfect place to pop the question. In the tiger enclosure!!!!! (I think he secretly would have fed me to the tigers if I had said no!). Lucky for me, I said YES! It was such a thoughtful proposal and we were lucky enough to have one of the workers capture our special day. Later that night, to top it off, Nathan had planned for all of our family and friends to meet us for celebratory drinks! A day I will never forget! I can’t wait to take our children to the Melbourne Zoo one day, it will always be such a special place for us.
Tell us the story of how you fell in love with your GBN dress?
I remember looking at the Savannah dress before I was even engaged and thinking how amazing it would be to wear one day. Lucky for me this dream came true and I married my best friend in the most dreamy gown I could imagine. I received so many compliments on my dress all day/night and I could not have been happier with my choice! GBN really are super talented!

What was the wedding theme/style for your special day?
Our theme for the day was a classic white and green floral arrangement with a romantic, modern feel and candles, lots of candles!
On your wedding day, what was the moment that made you cry the most?
The first look with my father and just before walking down the aisle with him got me! I had to keep telling myself not to ruin my makeup!
I also had to stop the tears from coming when I first locked eyes with Nathan walking down the aisle, I could see he was teary looking at me and again when we were both reading our vows. It was the most intense moment!
What was the moment that made you laugh the most?
We laughed so much throughout our day, it is impossible to pick only one moment! You could not wipe the smiles off our faces!
Any advice for future brides?
Live in the moment and don’t sweat the small stuff. Be present and enjoy every moment with your partner, it will all go by too quickly! If at the end of the day, you have married the one you love, then that is all that matters!
