Stylists Wildflowers & Moss were invited to style the brand new wedding and function venue at myHorizon in Brisbane’s south. They drew inspiration for ‘Love Over The Horizon’ from the surrounding bushland.
The bridal silhouette for this shoot was the mermaid style ‘Angelina’ gown by Goddess by Nature. This gown was classic yet modern with a stunning lace up back and draped train. It’s beautiful design featured a low v-neckline and was designed for the effortless bride. Our bridesmaid wore the Ethereal Tulle Multiway gown (also Goddess by Nature) in blush designed with a sweetheart pleated bodice and three delicate layers of soft, dreamy tulle.
The venue was styled for both a ceremony and reception to showcase its versatility. We designed an arbour to mimic the natural bushland view, choosing flowers of a rustic blend. White Moroccan lanterns were placed at the end of the aisle to completed the look. Later the deck was transformed into a reception space where tablescapes were laid that matched the natural style of the venue. Each place setting contained a muted grey charger and individually designed name tags with matching engraved acrylic menus.
We designed bouquets and flower crowns for both the bride and bridesmaid that matched back with the arbor and tablescape floral designs. The bridal bouquet was designed to be whimsically oversize and featured masses of paper daisies, garden roses, banksias and proteas all nestled in a bed of silver dollar eucalyptus.
The day was perfectly captured by the Brisbane-based wedding photographer Twig + Fawn Photography. Overall the look was fresh, effortless and fun. A look fit for any modern bride and her handsome groom.
